It all started with someone knocked on my door. It was my neighbor asking for a cake mixer. She was stressed and in panic. While she was making her birthday cake for her invited friends, her cake mixer crashed. With no hesitation, I lent her mine. The next day she returned it back with a delicious piece of cake and a smile full of thankfulness.
This event made me think and ask if one cake mixer can be sufficient for two families why we buy two? Everyone has items in his house or garage that are used only couple of times per year and sometime even less. What if we start borrowing our underused items to each other? We will save space, use more and better items, spend less money, use less raw materials, reduce the CO₂ emission and much more.
From this moment, the idea of launching a platform to apply this concept didn't leave my mind. Today and after few years of work and trials, Knocknock becomes a reality!
